The reason I am writing this is to give a bad plug about VADS. The company which I work oh so 8 months ago?

So if you are a person who wants to know how the company runs or a person who is going to be hired by this company.

Read what I have to say and analyse yourself. Its entirely up to you if you would like to work for these heartless people.

These are my thoughts about the company which I hate so much!

If you are about to be hired to any of the company listed. I suggest that you look for other alternatives before you actually decided to dip your toes into this company.

VADS is a company which does outsourcing of projects for big companies for their call center. Its either you work in VADS TTDI place or at the customer’s place. So it varies.

So if you are the desperate kind hoping to jump to a new job and being all safe. Think again. This bloody company will hire you guys up and do their screen test and you pass and you are hired but the shit does not end there. You are required to go for their training and then when they do your test and simulation and if they find you are below average, guess what? They kick you out of the project and terminate your contract. So you are back on the road with no job. So fucked right. Well that is what is happening to the VADS people that they hire. They pay small wages of salary but expecting the best in you. From your scoring and all. But when its time for them to deliver, They just simply can’t deliver to your expectations.

Salary is always a drag. Its always the last day of the month for them to bank in your salary. So if there is a freaking 32nd day of the month, it probally bank in on that day too. Such assholes.

I was hired as a Linksys Techinical Engineer, not that the salary or their screen test, I pretty much pass everything because I pretty much had what it takes to be a customer service officer but I pity the ones that did not have it or just making their way thru. Its just too harsh for them.

The reason I am pissed is because VADS terminated Linksys because they werre not making any money out of it. Even after Linksys has attempted to counter offered, they still declined. It was a bussiness decision which they have made but one thing they did not anticipated was the staff working for LINKSYS. So to get rid of us as most of us were tied up a 3 year contract with VADS, they had to put us somewhere and decided to throw us mindlessly to their other projects such as Streamyx and Celcom.

I understand perfectly that if you were to throw people to other projects, the least they could do is give us the opportunity to choose which company we would want to work again. It would only be fair and reasonable to do. But for them its entirely different story. They just throw you where its conveient.

So here I am working in a freaking stupid company called Celcom. I use to work in Digi Telecomunications and I use to think that digi was bad but coming to a All Muslim company just makes it a hell a lot of difference because the place is shitty, the staff is shitty and the people working in the celcom project are just plain shitty.

They don’t have proper management and all. They don’t even have the celular devices for testing. They need people to be imaginative. How funny is that…

To keep it short, They just don’t really care for their staff. to them its all about a bussiness decision and you are merely their pawn. So think twice before you take this job. The people and me are facing this problem now and everyone is looking for a job elsewhere not because we want to, but because we are force too otherwise we are just going to suffer.

Many people tell me that bad luck happens in 3 times in a row.

Looking at it after the second which I felt was the most painful. Now I’m finally hearing the truth that my company’s contract has been canceled by the customer.

Time for me to look for a new job. At least its the last streak of bad luck.

Sigh~ It’s hard at this around to move forward…

Today is Deepavali Day. Really not in the mood of celebrating. Since I came back with a kodak camera filled with pictures taken by my brother and sister in law. I decided to post it up here.

What a day to remember on something so sad for me… Sigh~

I dun know about you guys if you have actually managed to watched this typical home renovations shows shown on cable tv. Shows such as “While you were out” or “Casa Impian” for the Malaysian folks on TV3.

It’s normally a show where the owner is away from the house and these people come in to your house and they redecorate either your living room, dining hall, bedroom, unused attic and so fort and transform them into beautifully doned well decor.

Now I know its really fun watching how these people could come up with such great ideas and all as I get suckered into watching the show. For example, if the owner of the house always love Hawai, so they decided to design the whole backyard as Hawaii which is also sooo relatively stupid.

Now one thing I notice is when everything is done and the owner comes back and they always seems to be all happy and jolly which looks entirely fake to my eye. I never seem to get those kind of wierd looks and stare. Everything seems to be soo well arrange and they are always so compose in their conversation.

Here are a few scenarios which I think should be really happen.

Senario 1

*Lady walks in to her house and meets the host of the show*

Host: Hello Yolanda. This is Mike in the “While you were out” show.

Lady: Hi… I’m not Yolanda… 

Host: Is this house 32?

Lady: No… this is house 33 but Miss Yolanda lives in house 32 just down the street.

Host: SHIT!!!

Scene 2

*Lady walks in to her house and meets the host of the show*

Host: Hi Mrs Chen… This is Mike in the “While you were out” show.

Lady: Wait.. Who the fuck are you? How do you have the keys to my house?

Host: *smiling* Come and follow me Mrs. Chen. I’ll show you your newly renovated bedroom

*while walking to the bedroom and looking around the mess*

Lady: Are you guys going to clean all this mess before you leave right?

Host: Isn’t this bedroom look wonderful after the renovation?

Lady: Omg! Holy FUCK!!!

Host: You love it don’t you?

Lady: I hate green colour which is on my wall. Why in the world do you have to go pick the green colour and where is my fucking furniture?

Host: urmmm…. ah…..

Now isn’t that something more realistic then what you should really see on tv?

OMG! Arrghhh!!!! I can’t believe that I freaking miss this opportunity to join for the sony competition for the Double Exposure.

I only had the news when I turn on my msn this morning at 9.30am and having to see an offline message from Leroy about this.

Its a competition where you need to attend the audition and if you get it, you have the chance to be trained by the professionels to take great pictures and follow the clients needs and show out the image they want. I could so do this but then I did not open my msn till today morning… Means I freaking miss the freaking dates. Bah!

Sony - Double Exposure advert

Since I missed it and can’t do much about it. I shall watch out for this show and watch it and learn from it. I am so going to join this event next year!

Since this place has been quite sometime around, I believe this place deserved a good advert plug on it. Their website is not yet set up but since it’s new and you were to give them some time, I believe they will eventually have it up and running.

Just last Saturday, I had a really late dinner with Leroy and Stephani. They have been this place before and since all of us are pork lovers, It makes perfect sense to go there and eat it. Besides there not many places where they just specialise pork dishes especially in western style.

sidenote: I now that I am a hopeless romantic and I get suckered into listening to songs from this… Yeah I know that its my number 1 playlist in my Itouch and as I said, I’m a hopeless romantic.

Something which I learned just recently after attending a wedding dinner. Mind you that it has nothing to do with the wedding as it was simply amazing and one of its kind wedding. Its just the enviroment that I was in it. 

Lesson to be learn, Always bring your girlfriend when you are attending any weddings and especially when you only know the bride and the groom.

Its just too bloody awkward sitting down on a table with strangers and far too boring for my kind. I rather just give the angpow and sat at home while babysitting the nephews then being on a table with weird and strange people.

p/s: Oh yeah! those bastards stole my chocolates on the table. I hope they get 2 weeks of diarrhoea
